TimeProvider 500 Translator System enables operators to lower operational cost while delivering the same quality of performance by replacing leased T1/E1 lines with Ethernet. TimeProvider 500 has two T1/E1 outputs to synchronise equipment in wireless base stations, PON and DSL street cabinets and remote terminals. Designed to deliver cost effective frequency synchronisation for Next-Generation Networks, TimeProvider 500 is a compact and easy way to provide synchronisation in the Metropolitan Area Network or Access Network. TimeProvider 500 translates Precision Time Protocol IEEE 1588-2008 to traditional T1/E1 synchronisation signals complying with ITU G.8261 & G.823/G.824.
